Sweet & Song photo special
Short & Sweet & Song - the glitzy younger sister of the world's biggest
little play festival - was launched this week (Wednesday, September 13) at NIDA with an
appropriate musical feast. Artistic Director Avigail Herman sang up a storm along with
some of Sydney's youngest stars of the musical stage - Daniel Scott (currently in
rehearsal for Priscilla playing the role of Felicia - Guy Pearce’s role in
the movie), Belinda Wollaston and Hayden Tee (who are both about to play leads in Titanic,
the musical) .
Short & Sweet & Song 2007 is a season of mini-musicals and cameo cabarets, 6-11
Feb ‘07, plumb in the middle of the five-week summer short play festival. It’s
an opportunity for music theatre composers, lyricists, librettists, directors, music
directors, choreographers & actors to combine their creative talents & present
astounding new 10 minute music theatre pieces!
