The Lowdown:
Pippin was the debut production of Kookaburra, a new music theatre company started up by Peter Cousens. The show attracted much controversy for a number of reasons, including a no understudies policy which saw several shows cancelled following the death of Trisha Noble's mother. Pippin opened to generally poor reviews.
