The Lowdown:
The 10th Anniversary production of Les Miserables came following
the shows first airing in Australia in 1987. The 10th Anniversary production opened almost
10 years to the day, just two days later than the original opening night. The cast
featured what would become a who's who of theatre, including David Campbell, Amanda
Harrison, Kane Alexander and Helen Walsh.
The show finished in Sydney in June 1998 and then toured to Melbourne, Auckland,
Perth and Brisbane. Many cast members had featured in other productions of Les
Miserables before joining the company.
