geoff3.jpg (65897 bytes)Geoffrey began his career at the age of 15 as a composer, arranger and musical director for productions of Shakespearean plays and pantomimes. Over the past ten years some of the highlights of Geoffrey’s career as a Musical Director include Bells Are Ringing, Little Shop of Horrors, Dames At Sea, Into The Woods, Godspell: Prepare Ye, The Secret Garden, Romance! Romance! and the NSW Premieres of The Witches Of Eastwick, Putting It Together and I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change! He has musically directed numerous corporate events and concerts, and is a regular cabaret performer having appeared at most cabaret venues in Sydney. Geoffrey has worked with performers including Toni Lamond, Hayden Tee, Margi De Ferranti, David Campbell and Marina Prior. No stranger to the orchestra pit, he has played keyboards in productions including Jerry’s Girls, Side By Side By Sondheim, Lucky Stiff, 42nd Street, Les Misérables and the Australian Premiere of The Scarlet Pimpernel.

Geoffrey is regularly employed by the NSW Department of Education (The Arts Unit) for the Schools Spectacular and State Music Camps as an accompanist, conductor and arranger. He sang in the choir for the Australian Idol Grand Final in 2004 and 2005 and is in demand across Sydney as a conductor, arranger, vocal coach and accompanist. Recently he arranged music for the launch of Chicago on DVD and recorded German cabaret songs for ABC National Radio with performer Amie McKenna. He is currently the accompanist for Vox (Sydney Philharmonia Choirs).

In 2002 Geoffrey was awarded the Young Citizen of the Year for Willoughby City Council.

Geoffrey is currently studying for a Bachelor of Music (Music Education) at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music and holds an A.Mus.A in piano.
